Primary 6 Students Connect Across Cultures through Virtual Exchange with Taiwan School

We recently welcomed an enriching cultural learning experience as Primary 6 students participated in a Virtual Exchange Programme with Ching Tsao Hu Elementary School, Taiwan.

The session provided students with the opportunity to connect with peers from another country while gaining meaningful insights into daily school life and cultural traditions beyond Malaysia. During the exchange, students from Ching Tsao Hu Elementary School introduced their campus, sharing its location, surrounding environment, school facilities, and a special cultural performance that reflected the spirit of their community.

In return, our students proudly presented Malaysia’s rich multicultural identity by introducing the country’s three main ethnic groups, traditional attire, and popular traditional foods. The sharing session became a meaningful platform for students to celebrate diversity, exchange perspectives, and learn from one another in an engaging and interactive environment.

Beyond cultural knowledge, the programme also encouraged students to develop confidence in communication, strengthen presentation skills, and build greater appreciation for global connections at a young age.

At Peninsula Private School, learning extends far beyond academics. Experiences such as this Virtual Exchange Programme reflect the school’s commitment to nurturing globally aware learners who are open minded, culturally respectful, and confident in sharing their own identity with the world.
