We recently conducted the “Be the Change, Not the Bystander!” Anti-Bullying Programme on 10 March 2026 at the school auditorium, reinforcing the importance of empathy, kindness, and creating a safe environment where every student feels supported.
The programme was facilitated by students from the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, IMU University, who guided participants through a series of engaging and interactive activities designed to help students better understand bullying, its impact, and how to respond responsibly.
Throughout the session, students explored the different types, causes, and effects of bullying through presentations, role-play activities, trivia sessions, and real-life scenarios. One of the highlights of the programme was the “Kindness Hot Potato” activity, where students shared encouraging messages, promoting empathy and positive communication in a meaningful and memorable way.
The programme also focused on empowering students with the confidence to seek help, support their peers, and recognise the importance of speaking up when someone may be struggling. Interactive awareness stations and reflection activities encouraged students to think more deeply about how their everyday actions can influence the well-being of others.
At Peninsula Private School, student well-being remains at the heart of education. Beyond academic learning, we believes in nurturing emotionally aware individuals who understand the value of compassion, respect, and looking out for one another.
The “Be the Change, Not the Bystander!” Anti-Bullying Programme served as an important reminder that creating a supportive school culture begins with empathy and that no child should ever feel alone.
