Students Learn About Emotional Well-Being

Peninsula Private School is leading the way in promoting mental health awareness among its students, as demonstrated by the recent session on July 31, 2024. The event, which focused on the “Anger Umbrella” activity, encouraged students to explore and label their emotions, helping them to understand and manage their feelings more effectively.

Mental health is a critical aspect of overall well-being, particularly in educational settings. According to the World Health Organisation, one in seven adolescents aged 10-19 is affected by mental disorders. By addressing these issues early, PPS is ensuring that its students are equipped with the emotional tools necessary to navigate the challenges of life.

This initiative is part of PPS’s broader commitment to supporting SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and fostering a school environment that prioritises both academic and emotional intelligence. Through activities like these, PPS is preparing its students not just for exams, but for life.
